Dracaena Goldieana is a rare and very attractive dragon tree variety! Also called Zebra Striped Dragon Tree, this plant features ovate leaves that are beautifully marbled with a green and white alternating. New foliage has a red underside. This plant is a rare gem for lovers of special foliage!

Dracaena Goldieana is slow-growing and can reach up to 1-2m in indoor cultivation. When young this plant usually has a single stem, as it matures it may branch. Native to tropical Africa, it grows as a tropical woodland understory plant in nature. This plant is rarely seen for sale because it is so very slow to propagate and grow.

Dracaena Goldieana thrives best in bright indirect light locations protected from direct sun and drafts. If placed in too much shade, the foliage might lose its distinct colours. It prefers moist, humus rich, well-drained soils. Water it regularly and sparingly and make sure the soil is moist but never wet. Reduce watering during the winter months.

Size

This plant comes in a 12 cm pot and is about 10 cm tall.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Please note: we aim to get all orders shipped within 7 working days from the date of order.

To avoid plants being held up in the post, we only post them out Monday to Wednesday (depending on the season) if shipping inland Germany or Mondays only when shipping in EU.

When ordering in winter, please know that we ship our plants with heat packs included in the package. We can however postpone the shipment if the temperatures go below 0.

Please note that some damage can occur during transit on occasions, despite our best efforts to package our plants ready for travel. We hope you understand if that does by chance occur.

Bright indirect light, protect from direct sunlight and drafts. Can tolerate low light but leaves loose their best colour in too much shade.

Keep the soil moist during the growing season but never waterlogged. Reduce watering from fall to winter. Mist often and give it an occasional shower to remove dust.
