Description

Rhipsalis Heidelberg commonly known as mistletoe cactus is a flowering species native to central and south America. The long, spaghetti-like stalks can grow well over a metre and produce flowers which are reminiscent of bubble tea. This interesting and unique Rhipsalis is an easy to care for plant and one which will soon become your favourite house plant.

Rhipsalis Heidelberg thrives in a well lit space with a small amount of morning or evening sun. The soil should be well draining but kept more moist than other cacti and succulents. It is possible to grow Rhipsalis outdoors when temperatures are consistently over 15 degrees.

Rhipsalis Heidelberg is well suited as a hanging plant due to the nature of its noodle-like leaves. This plant pairs well with any of our hanging planters listed and can be a perfect bathroom plant providing adequate light is present.

When grown indoors, it is important to keep it humid and warm during growing/flowering season.

Size: this plant is about 60cm tall and it comes in a 9cm plastic pot.

Care Tips:

Light: partial shade, no direct sunlight

Water: let it dry out between waterings, drought tolerant

Soil: well draining cactus potting mix

Rhipsalis is toxic to humans or animals.

This plant will fit perfectly in NAHK planter or Fóbe planter.

Delivery Time

Germany 1-3 days

For all other countries delivery time can range from 3-10 days.

At the moment we are processing the orders on Mondays only – so if you order from us on a Wednesday it won’t be processed until the following Monday.

 

Due to bio laws our plants are shipped only to the countries of European Union, Norway and Switzerland. Shipping fee includes packaging and handling costs. All parcels are send with tracking number. We cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Please note: we aim to get all orders shipped within 7 working days from the date of order.

 

To avoid plants being held up in the post, we only post them out Monday to Wednesday (depending on the season) if shipping inland Germany or Mondays only when shipping in EU.

 

When ordering in winter, please know that we ship our plants with heat packs included in the package. We can however postpone the shipment if the temperatures go below 0.

 

Please note that some damage can occur during transit on occasions, despite our best efforts to package our plants ready for travel. We hope you understand if that does by chance occur.
