Description

Philodendron Erubescens White Princess is a terrific, rare Aroid houseplant with green pointy leaves and plenty of white variegated speckles and blotches. It is both a highly decorative and easy-care choice for your indoor jungle!

White Princess is a self-heading variety which means that the leaves that are spaced so closely on the stem that the stem is not visible until they are much older or until of the lower leaves begin to naturally fall off. This makes it unique from most other philodendrons which are distinctly vine-like.

Philodendron Erubescens White Princess has plenty of white variegation and will reward you with more under the right conditions! Please remember that no direct sunlight should touch the plant’s leaves. If the plant will get too much light, the leaves will begin to turn yellow and scorch.

Plant your Philodendron Erubescens White Princess in a loose potting mix, like our very own Aroid Potting Mix. This plant will also do well in soil-less potting medium like sphagnum, peat-vermiculite or peat-perlite.

Philodendron Erubescens White Princess is a climber so give it a support pole, such as our Golden Plant Stakes, to help it reach its full potential.

Also make sure to check out other rare Philodendrons in our store: Philodendron Florida GhostPhilodendron Gloriosum or Philodendron White Princess!

Philodendron Care Tips

Light

Philodendrons thrive in medium to bright indirect light, but will tolerate darker spots as well.

Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as our Aroid Potting Mix, ideally containing some coco coir, bark and perlite. You can also grow Philodendrons in soil-less mixes like sphagnum moss and perlite or hydroponics.

Water

Philodendrons like their soil to dry between waterings. Water when the top 3cm of soil are totally dry to the touch.

Humidity

Most Philodendron, especially the Erubesecens varieties, will thrive in average humidity. However, some of the more tropical and velvety species will require higher humidity to survive.

Toxicity

All Philodendron are toxic to humans and animals if ingested.
