Philodendron Pink Princess is a terrific, rare philodendron species from tropical rain forests in South America. It’s a climbing aroid with dark leaves and light pink variegated blotches. The young leaves emerge as a dark olive-green with almost white variegation, maturing to a deep green, almost black with bright pink spots. Provide good light for maximum variegation but no direct sunlight.

This particular exemplar of Philodendron Pink Princess has very little pink variegation or close to none. However, when provided good lighting it should eventually produce more pink as it matures – the pink variegation always comes with the maturity of the plant. Please remember, that no direct sunlight should touch the plant’s leaves. If the plant will get too much light, the leaves will begin to turn yellow. If you’d like a Philodendron Pink Princess with more variegation, please go here.

Plant your rare Philodendron Pink Princess in a loose potting mix (like our aroid mix). This plant will also do well growing in soil-less potting medium like sphagnum, peat-vermiculite or peat-perlite. Remember, Philodendron Pink Princess is a climber so give it a Golden Plant Stake to help it reach its full potential.

Size: this plant is approximately 25cm tall and comes in a plastic pot 12cm in diameter.
