Eucalyptus Gunnii, commonly known as Cider Gum, is a hardy flowering evergreen tree with stunning silver foliage. With maturity, Gunnii develops a smooth trunk with colourful flaking bark and produces white fluffy flowers in summer. The foliage is highly fragrant and medicinal.
Eucalyptus Gunnii is famous for its juvenile silver coin-like leaves which are a staple of many floral bouquets. This juvenile growth welcomes pruning in spring to encourage branching whilst also allowing you to create your own floral arrangements from your own plant.
If you have a full sun position with moderate to high air flow Eucalyptus Gunnii is perfect for that. Sufficient watering will allow the Eucalyptus will grow into a stunning large feature tree, bringing an intriguing colour palette to any urban jungle.
The plant is approximately 30 cm tall and comes in a 12 cm pot.
